CHALLENGE COURSE CONSTRUCTION

Challenge Accepted

The Alpine Towers commitment to quality craftsmanship is demonstrated from start to finish, beginning with our thorough design process until construction is complete. We’re committed to using high-quality materials and first-class carpentry for every installation. This means you can trust your Alpine Towers course will be built to last, simple to maintain, and designed to inspire a sense of possibility in every individual who comes in contact with your facility.

Our Design Process

First, Alpine Towers uses several engineering firms to perform our design evaluations. As necessary, engineered plans and drawings are provided to help secure building permits or a special use permit. All of our designs meet and/or exceed specifications established by the Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) and the Climbing Wall Association. Our course construction teams attend internal trainings every year to ensure the highest building standards and adherence to best industry practices.

Whether your design utilizes one of our established courses as a starting point, or features an entirely custom build based on your unique vision for your facility, the end result will be a one-of-a-kind course—tailored to meet your needs and desires—that  you’re proud to offer and we’re proud to stand behind.

Safety Is Our Top Priority

Our Alpine Towers designs use a variety of systems to ensure maximum safety for each participant. When it comes to our equipment, Alpine Towers stays up-to-date on the latest tech and modern advancements for the belays, cables, tethers, and other systems we utilize in our designs. We evaluate every aspect of the course before implementation, and ensure our technology and training allows for participants to make transfers and complete the course in the safest way possible.

Access Prevention

All of our course sites and locations are evaluated for effective access prevention during the design stage, while course owners and operators are trained to mitigate this issue once course construction is complete. “No Trespassing” signs are placed prominently in several places on each structure. While no access prevention system can be completely foil-proof, ATI courses have a superb reputation for minimizing unwanted access.

Lighting Protection

One of the most respected firms in the country designed the lightning protection system used on most of our outdoor designs. While no lightning system may be able to provide complete protection during a direct, unimpeded strike, we believe our lightning systems provide significant protection for your challenge course equipment.
